Not patch day as far as I know... They just opened up the test server and officially released the 1.6 patch notes.

It seems that you will be able to daisy chain folks. There is nothing about killing the general in the quest and even before you do, you can hover over the brand behind him and it gives you a gear. Im assuming that aslong as you have the quest, you can get the brand on your hand -- regardless if you kill drak or not. That might be working as intended, cause most people who are ready for BWL dont feel like doing 3 drak runs (even simultaneously), its kinda pointless.

I guess that makes sense... I ran through an empty BRD to MC to get the attunement quest after a 10 man group had gone and mostly disbanded. Though I kinda miss UBRS...

I rarely ever go back into UBRS, although I would like to get my draconian deflector back..

A bunch of us got the quest from the Quartermaster... he spawns about every 2 minutes. When you get to the top of the stairs leading to the UBRS instance, if you take a left instead of a right (which leads to the balcony), you will find him in a small room. He's like a lvl 56 elite and drops like a stone to a raid. All in the group can loot. Biggest problem was we had about 4 raids in there, and the corpses stacked up and made it difficult to loot. There is also some funky orb in there that gives you a gear tooltip... ignore that...

Then its a standard 15 man UBRS run.

that orb lrd talked about in the quartermaster's room is the entrance to BWL AFTER you get attuned
