lol i briefly tried it and got pissed off at having to relearn all the fucking item names and where to buy them. Should have just kept it identical to dota.

Yeah technically they could have, since they got full permission to use it. I've failed for awhile at the start cause not knowing what to find and what to buy, along with not playing dota for a long while.
