Hello folks,

I would like to start out by mentioning I have been viewing BL's stream for tier 14 content.

I noticed that all of the casters were wielding Dragonwrath Tarecgosa rather than a heroic blue staff from the instances. I was wondering if anybody would kindly take their time to explain to a noob like me how that silly old thing can be BiS before a tier 14 raiding staff is obtained?

All items are being scaled up to 476 ilvl including Level 60 raid items like Hand of Rag, Thunderfury etc. its why Riggnaros is also using Shadowmourne as it provides more Weapon damage than the PvP 489 weapon being scaled down to 476. Proc's don't scale though, but Tarecgosa's isn't a damage # proc so its still very very good.
