with a couple exceptions I agree...

exceptions:
Zelda: Wind Waker
Metroid Prime (1 or 2)
Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes

and probably a few others, but those ones come to mind immediately.

<3 old consoles... SNES 4 eva.

As for CT vs. FF6 - I love both, but FF6 was much longer (a good thing), had more well developed characters (another good thing). CT and FF6 both had awesome battle systems, great storylines, and some interesting play mechanics that made them top notch).

The shortness was made up for somewhat by the 13 endings (give or take)... but it was still a bloody short RPG (took me ~15 hours and that was for the hardest ending)... FF6 was far longer and more detailed - I clocked in at least 50 hours my first time through it.
