Mages and other casters... OWNED

The Master Demonologist bonus for Felhunter is +60 to all resists if you have MD at 5/5. Given the Felhunter was a caster-killer anyway, now you'll have almost no way of hurting a 'lock. Not that many mages could kill me with my Felhunter out in the first place. Wow.

Enjoy the moment in the spotlight but expect a nerf next patch. If there ever existed an undead shaman....well you're it.

I have yet to try to fight locks with an MS spec but with a fury spec they're pretty much unbeatable. Also I've noticed that the majority of locks on illidan are really bad. Today for the first time ever I realized that locks have something called a 'curse of exhaustion'. So how do you use it effectively? Here's a rundown:

1) seduce: shd bolt (you can also dot in either step 1 or 2)
2) seduce: shd bolt
3) seduce: curse of exhaustion
4) kite until the seduce timer is cleared
5) rinse and repeat

with soul link even upclose I could barely put a dent on them before they took me down and even rogues were falling to them.

Also, fury spec is garbage in pvp and I'd wager that so is the 500dmg shield slam (ie 200dmg after armor). It was sort of fun playing the luck game vs another fury warrior to see whose execute lights up first. :P

In conclusion, blizzard is terrible and still doesn't get what to do. Don't even get me started on how stupid it is to make the TOP-definining-talent-of-the-PROTECTION-tree have more use in pvp than in pve.

CoEx is for noobs, requires 5 points in a talent and Amp Curse to be half useful. All out survivability is whats in now, I'll have 80% damage reduction with a VW out and Soul Link on, and when the VW gets tired I'll have a 2k sheild and the ability to resummon in .5 seconds and do it all over again.

Dot ticks alone can kill people in that time.

*sigh* yet the WoW boards are still swamred by complainers...

CoEx is so not for newbs, i dunno how many people ive killed becuase of it...but yea, what Bine says is pretty much true...warlocks will inherit the Earth after the patch...and to be honest, i CANT WAIT for the enrf warlock threads to pop up from rogues

not so much that warlocks need nerfage, they've been nerfed long enough, just that rogues need buffage

The only problem with your method krk is the diminishing returns on seduce. By the third shot, it lasts about 2 seconds. Also, the PvP trinket everyone has busts one of those, or more. CoE kiting may be the way to go, but I ain't dumping that much into Affliction. I'd rather just live on my Soul Link/pets DoTs, DeathCoil, an occasional fear, and have Shadowburn for the finish to get my shard back.

Hehe yeah, I was demonology on my warlock back before it was cool. Soul Link is by the best warlock ability in the game. :D

BTW, is there an improved felhunter talent yet? Haven't checked...

NO, but all the pets are buffed more by Unholy Power and the new Master Demonologist.

I know...the 3rd seduce gives you time to pump out Coe so u can start kiting.

Well, we can try, anyway, but again, most demon specs aren't going to have CoEx, which is what I'm talking about. CoEx is not a skill, its a talent that takes, what, 15-20 points in affliction? Not many 'locks go there.

I rarely, if ever use CC methods like fear or seduce in a duel. IMO, they are a waste of mana. The only thing I use fear for is to interrupt another caster's heal or something.
