If you're asking then you shouldnt be working on your own car.

Its telling us that the author deleted it. If you want to buy a car to learn how to do body/engine work then go ahead. It is not that hard to get a knack for fixing cars, it just takes a little time and studying. If you want to get something easy to work on buy a honda or an integra. Those are pretty easy cars for learning with.

since i still have no idea what some of this stuff means... is it ok if i list another car here and u could tell me what some of it means or could u tell me of a good book that i could buy that would explain this shit for me? and dont say autos for dummies >_<

Well my old high school offered auto tech courses for juniors and seniors, and it was alot of very good hands-on experience paired up with a little textbook reading. I learned more advanced techniques and stuff from professional car tuners, not really from any car engineering manuals eheh.

Imports are not the easier cars to work on...wtf?
American cars are generally easier to work on IMO.

I didnt mean they are easier per say. Its just that with the imports you have much more shit you can do to them. They have all kinds of body/engine mods out there that arent that expensive. I'm sure working on an old Ford would be pretty easy, but you dont wanna pour money into a pile of crap.
