No more stupid Knock out Osama popup windows

the popups that i get are from internet explorer. I use firefox but i HAVE to use internet explorer for my math class b/c some of the plugins i do the math on the internet firefox doesnt work. I USED to have internet explorer deleted off my internet until i had this stupid math class....now i get flash popups from internet explorer but not firefox. Hopefully this will help.

your math class prolly has a activeX applet and you will only be able to use IE untill more browsers support it.

This is the same reason why you cannot run your windows updates with firefox (windows updates is activeX)
I use mozilla which is basically what firefox was derived from... but then again i run linux on my regular machine, so activeX is not really a problem and i dont go to school O.o All our systems @ the ISP I work for run linux.

but for windows... between mozilla and firefox, I like firefox for the mass amount of module addons and ofcourse tabbed browsing.

i get many popups from internet explorer, ive used firefox since it was first made, when it was in the beta stages. At first I never got popups at all, but over time I started getting a few here and there. I get popups from time to time on firefox now but nowhere nearly as much as I get with internet explorer. firefox is the way to go i think.

Well, the fix Sting has brought up here has totally eliminated them for me. Woot!
