the other day i got killed on Malav with 2 shadowbolts and 1 hit from curse of agony.


The warlock had to have used a trinket and managed to luck out and get spell crits on both shadowbolts.

Oh and I was seduced between shadowbolts so i couldn't do a damn thing.

aquintis, those hits that hityou were superweak, i can crit 3500+ soul fires and 1200+ shadowburns not to mention my immolate has hit for 1200+ and conflag for 1000+

Were you seduced, Aquintis? I suppose not since another toon is hitting you, so the question is, why would you let a warlock stand and cast for over 6 seconds uninterrupted? You're just asking for that. Very few of my enemies are so inclined to stand still.

yeah, your mistake was shifting out of cat. Unless he's got a succubus out, there's absolutely very little he can do with 1.0 attack speed cat clawing him

all you guys can blow me. for the last 6 months warlocks have sucked in pvp and finally after we get thrown a couple of bones, and start to kill people in pvp, everyone is complaining because all of a sudden, warlocks arent free CP...screw you guys, and especially DRUIDS...of all classes that could complain about a warlock beating them, a druid should be the last

mages should definitely STFU

pyroblasts can crit higher than 3500 EASY

you can BLINK (best skill ever) and FROST NOVA

POM are all probably better than any skill warlocks get.

you can kill warriors, we cant, because a hamstring = dead warlock. unlike you we dont have one of the more overpowered abilities in the game VS melee classes.

You're right stormcrow, we do have an advantage over tanks. You have advantages over MANY classes that we do not. No worries though, I'm sure blizz will overbuff us too in the end.

i'll name what classes we have advantages over

Mages

and shitty priests/druids/shamans

other classes all have pretty good game against warlocks

ESPECIALLY depending on build.

conflag spec i cant kill rogues anymore really.

i cant really kill hunters anymore either

and mages even give me a hard time.

now with soul link spec i could kill pretty much any class but the best warriors and priests and druids/shamsn

mages have just as good if not better matchup against though classes.

they own warriors, i know mages have a pretty easy time with most rogues, and probably do better against healers than warlocks (you dont need a specific pet to use counterspell)

really i think your jsut fishing for excuses, we really didnt get much of a buff at all except for deathcoil, which if they hadnt buffed would probably be totally worthless (10minute cooldown no fear effect...)

now its 2 min cooldown 500damage and a 2 second fear

mages havent been redone yet (i dont think they need to personally, bunch whiners though, but i didnt think warlocks needed fixing aside from soulshards which they havent fixed)

the ONLY thing mages really need is a deaggro, the problem is its not just mages, warlocks needed it also (if not more)

and maybe even shadow priests (hah, like we'd let shadowpriests nuke)

mostly your whines just come from the fact that warlocks beat you, you have almost an equally good chance of beating all of the other classes like we do except your autowin = warriors, ours = mages and we loses to warriors, and you lose to warlocks.

its this rock-paper-scissors thing, i know you'd like to beat everyone at everything, do the most damage, and all that but seriosuly mages whine more than fucking warlocks.

why dont you go fucking reroll if your class sucks so much really?

EDIT also, what "overbuff" did warlocks get lets see, we got ONE SINGLE FUCKING NEW TALENT in the demonology tree REQUIRING 20 POINTS AND THEN 25 POINTS TO MAX OUT, its ONLY useful with Felhunter or succubus (maybe imp in raids)

another buff we got was Soullink buff oooooh huge buff here, they actually made it absorb LESS damage (nerf fyi) made it an aura instead of a spell we have to spam (buff) and made it buff +3% warlock and pet damage (buff) this is a BUFF

WHICH REQUIRES A FUCKING 31 POINT INVESTMENT IN A TALENT TREE.

and we got our deathcoil buffed

heres what it did, 700mana = 500 instant damage with life absorb, with a TEN FUCKING MINUTE COOLDOWN?? YOU MEAN THAT WAS JUST FUCKING FINE AND WAS COMPLETELY USEFUL???

NOW DEATHCOIL HAS A 2 MINUTE COOLDOWN AND IT FEARS YOU FOR 2 WHOLE GODDAMN SECONDS, I"M SOOOOOOO GODDAMN SORRY YOUR TOO MUCH OF A WOMAN TO TAKE A 2 SECOND FEAR every TWO MINUTES BUT SERIOUSLY YOU CAN STFU.

Warlocks used to be arguably the worst class in the game and now they on par with some of the other classes.

mages have NEVER had a problem in pvp (still dont) and NEVER had a problem in pvp (all it is now is aggro trouble which warlocks/priests/furywarriors HAVE ALSO)

maybe you should givem e a more compelling argument why blizzard should go RENERF all our skills into uselessness and let me reroll as a fucking mage or warrior or whateverthefuck because if you had it your goddamn way warlocks would be absolutely useless.

go whine some more on your class forums about how hard you have it in pvp with blink and frost nova, how about you go tell that to warlocks who up until 1.8 patch NEVER HAD AN INSTA CAST ESCAPE SPELL AND COULD NEVER RUN FROM A FIGHT LIKE A MAGE CAN, I GOT AN IDEA GIVE ME FROST NOVA + BLINK AND I"LL TRADE YOU FOR DEATHCOIL HUH???
