My favorite MMORPG of all time (sure some of you think it sucked, but i really did like it alot more than anything out right now)... ya Ac2 servers are coming to a hault on December 31st due to lack of interest.

I just wanted to post a picture of my mage, (on the left)

Long live PVP Mages in Full Plate AOEing your face.

never played, but i heard from several sources that i respect that the first one was way better **shrug**

WoW is CONSIDERABLY healthier of a game(in #of players) than ac2 or any other mmo ever was, but it will probably die in 10-15 years, maybe more.. it will probably be a record breaker in longevity... but all mmo's die eventually :P

My roots are with the first AC, and AC2 didn't live up to my expectations. But still is sad to see it go. It looks like they really just needed to free up hardware for DnD.

I beta'd it.... its EXACTLY like guild wars.
there is towns (i call them chat rooms) that you get a group together and go through a door (instance) then when your done...you get portaled back to town and chat some more and get another group.. YAY!!!

Basically its guildwars... without the PVP and you gotta pay for it.

I loved AC. AC was my first MMORPG. I was on Thistledown. I played for 2 years, got almost all the pack toys and a nice cottage...*sigh*
Then everyone left and came to WoW. Which I love but I do miss AC. I heard AC2 was a disaster, I never really tried it. I wish I had the ambient sounds for it.

Ah memories.
Nice to know other people played AC too!
