its supposed to play ps1 and ps2 games, if its true and its 100% (not like x360s) then I may buy one, hell even just a blueray player is 900$

sorry, not paying 650 canadian for stuff my computer can already do, especially when wii has the fun games (zelda/smashbros/metroid/etc)

If you're referring to being able to run an emulator such as PCSX2 at enjoyable speeds - let alone at all - that must be a VERY high end computer. I have a 256MB graphics card and not even that is enough.

Sorry, but given the choice between the PS3/Wii or a PC I'll buy the PS3.

True, what with the Sega CD-era systems competing with SNES once upon a time. Games being released for the former weren't able to compete with Final Fantasy 3 or Chrono Trigger - even though the latter had horrible graphics by today's standards.
