a sad night...

Postby mica1217 on Sun Sep 18, 2005 2:45 am

I just got home a few hours ago from the hospital.
my little girl fell from her dresser trying to get something, and split her head wide open.

she seems fine but had to stay at the hospital overnight.
my wife, a nurse at the hospital says that all seems fine and she will stay with her most of the night.

I should be home to play in tomorrows raid (or is it today's...lol, looks at watch), yet if I'm not home in time from taking my girl home from the hospital, or if I need to tend to her, good luck in whatever your doing.

you should have seen my son, what a trooper.
he held a towel to her bleeding head and kept telling her that she will be fine once she sees her mommy at the hospital.

I'm sure things will be OK, Warkat. Head wounds always look 10 times worse than they are, and get 10 times the concern. I'm sure she'll be OK. See you later.

Oh poor baby, she must have been terrified (almost as much as the parents were). What a brave boy to stick with her in that situation. I can see why you are proud. See you in game :)

Harry,

I hope everything is ok. That had to be a pretty stressful night.

after a realy long weekend, and a scare like we had, I'm happy to say my girl is home and doing fine.

she has a huge black eye, but that is all that is basicly wrong with her.
her stiches will be out soon too, and by the time true love reaches her, she shouldn't even have a scar.

on behalf of my wife and I, we would like to thank all who posted and who might have messaged me ingame.

you kind thoughts and words ment alot to me, and helped in many ways.

now if I can only get my conection to Illidan to work. =(
seems even after a reinstall, I'm fine on other servers getting about 95 ping...yet I'm getting upwords of 3600 ping on illidan.
totaly unplayable...thats why you did not see me tonight.

anyway, again, a big thanks to everyone.
hopefuly the bad ping will get better soon, as I've missed a few days of raiding now and I miss all the fun I'm having with you guys.
