School sucks, Goodbye WoW for now....

Postby neXus on Wed Mar 08, 2006 9:14 pm

Yea... first thing that pops into my head for some reason is ZX saying i knew it.... lol no clue why but i just have that feeling.

I had a good talk with Aries here recently in the passed few days and i recently received my grant for school. I didnt see this comming, i thought i was backf or sure, because the passed two grants i've applied for were declined. For a while there i didnt think i could get approved for one but i finally did. In a way this is good and bad, good because i get to goto school again and finish out my degree in computer science, but bad because i wont be able to meet the exact requirements in the charter for attending raids...

At most i'd be able to attend 3 raids per week i'm guessing, i honestly dont know though yet because i havent received a set schedule yet. Yesterday i went down to San Jacinto College here in Houston and signed up for summer classes. I'm scheduled to start at the end of April / begining of May depending.

The talk i had with Aries was about applying to BL and then getting into the main guild, turning around and then having to goto school... it would save everyone's time if i just do it now and get done with it, so i'm officially declining my application to the guild because of these reasons. For me, it sucks straight out.... i was in the middle of my epic hunter quest, getting back into the grind, and everything else... maybe after this summer i'll be able to return hopefully. By that time who knows... The Burning Crusade might actually be in the game, or not... heard Blizz pushed it back as a rumor but dont know if thats true.

As for anyone who might suggest dont leave, stick around and play casually... i cant, simply put. I came back again to be a part of something that i once was in my memories. For me to continue playing without BL would for me at least, be a waste because everything i know of WoW starts and ends with BL; call it loyalty, call it dedication, call it what you will. I will miss you all, and will do my best to remain active on these forums :D

yup and aparenlty I get booted from the forums for saying that this guild is more then just a game and that people actually give a shit about eachother.

Guess I was wrong huh.

Peace out.
