im feeling to buy a accord actually as a first car, obviously used but still, i like how hondas are made. i guess i better check out hooondays too ;D
sorry for late reply...
yeah, get an Accord, even used, as they are great cars IMHO...at least far better then the Camrys.
didn't realy do too much resurch on used Accords, but "Cert used" Camerys were going for 15k-20k...
that's for 3-5 year old models, some not having much features, or they had high milage.
even with 3yr bumper to bumper, and 7yr powertrain, the used Camerys were just not a good deal to me.
maybe you can find a great deal on a used Accord.
just make sure it will have a warenty...like the certified used Camerys.
trust me, it's worth the extra money for the warenty.
(and if your realy broke, get a extended warranty on the net to "wrap" or extend the bumper to bumper to match your powertrain...try warrantydirect.com as they are the best.)
an other good site to read is "carbuyingtips.com"...use it.
again, I like the Accords alot, but if you are willing to spend about $2k more...start looking at the 2007 Sonata.
the V6 models come with basicly everything...you'll only pay extra for sunroof trim/power driverseat trim/combo of both, that also adds CD changer.
sadly, the 2007s came out early, and it's too hard to find any 2006 Sonatas left in stock...they carry a $2500 rebate as compared to the $1000 rebate on the 2007.
but if you find a 2006 with the color you like, think $20,000 after all is said and done.
tell me thats not a sweet deal!!!
if you need insurance, start looking at esurance and progressive and others...each have pros and cons.
so look at all of them.
what ever you get bro, good luck to you.
