He finished levelling off his hunter, then got it exalted with Thorium Brotherhood to make Nightfalls. He makes most raids, too.

We raid just enough to keep us experienced guys interested, for the most part, but with a lot of new players and raiders who've hardly ever raided, we don't set huge lofty goals. Its a nice way to enjoy a level 60 toon, without a lot of pressure.

I would love to see Naxx, and work those encounters, but real life just doesn't allow the dedication it takes to do what you all have done. Is why the HoEs is perfect for most of us.

Yeah, I can understand that. Sometimes I think it's be nice to be in a casual guild, but I play too much to do something like that heh.

How's nef coming? Getting close yet? :)

Both times, we had a combination of shitty colors and low AoE DPS, so we didn't really try.

Our biggest problem lately with BWL has been having only 2-3 mages and shaman show up. When we have well balanced raids, its pretty easy for us.

Yeah, makes sense. Your roster is pretty big though, it's surprising you can't field a good Nef raid. =/

Thats because most all of us have multiple alts in the guild, unlike BL, and most of those alts aren't geared to deal with Nef. We're also a lot more tolerant of inactives on the roster than most guilds, for sure more than BL is. On a normal night, we will have 42-45 people on at raid time. Both times we got to Nef, it was either late, or Sunday night, which is basically an "optional" night and didn't have a proper crew on.

That also makes sense. Have you been recruiting actively?

Yeah, but Zulu has a real low pop, and the pickin's are slim. Lots of idiots, too. But they recently opened up free transfers from Boulderfist, and we are seeing new blood. We have alot from both ends of the spectrum... either nub 60s with no raid experience or gear, or BWL/AQ40-decked out people who want to raid everyday and blow through content like you guys. The first slow us down a great deal, and frustrate the second.

zuluheds population is a bane upon my existence, out of the warlocks i have recruited from zuluhed only one so far has made it into the guild, all the rest of the warlocks all rransferred from illidan (luckily we're fairly active)

people from zuluhed seem to have some sort of innate brain damage and cannot see subtle nuances such as "stop dpsing you're going to pull aggro" and "what the fuck do you mean you didn't learn defensive stance?" going for them

we actively recruit all the time, and we app a multitude of people, problem is the worst player from illidan is heads and shoulders above the best players on zuluhed, this server attracts retards and has destroyed more raiding guilds than i can count, in the past 3 weeks our two biggest rivals collapsed and flooded us with apps (terrible ones) the rest transferred off the server to oblivion.

theres still Requiem which is in naxx, and gets all the "geared" apps, whereas we're stuck scrounging the bottom of the trash cans for people who can adds in digits above 3

surprisingly enough we're doing well, i'm sure we'll down nef, although its not looking to be a big deal with the xpac being out in 2 months.

either way, if the apps of this server we'rent terrible it'd be perfect, but they're all fucking morons.
