Enchanting or Jewelcrafting

Postby Rathan on Wed Sep 05, 2007 11:34 pm

I have been considering dropping leather working for a more useful craft. I have 375 lw but it is of absolutely no use and doesn't seem that blizzard will be buffing it in the future. I thought of holding onto it till the expansion and see what if anythign worthwhile gets added for it that may come of use to a resto shaman.

Though now I am leaning heavier on skilling somethign up that I can put to use now, hence the title of the post. Both are not cheap to skill up and both are good for making money once you get the recipes. As far as benefit to the character goes, the ring enchants are hands down the better self improvement, regardless of the addition of new jcer only gems.

The only other thing I have been considering is holding on to lwing till the exp then switch ti inscription but with no real knowledge other than it buffs spells its hard to make that decision atm.

Thx ahead of time for your responses.

Afaik, there has been no mention of self-inscription spells. Anything you can cast on yourself, you can cast on other people. I don't really see how inscription would be beneficial to wait on unless its a new character or you have alchemy :P JC is like w/e. Nothing special. Ring enchants 4tw.

I'm gunna have to go with ring enchants too. I have a semi-open profession though (leatherworking) that I can drop if inscription winds up being amazing.

Yeah Ring enchants are OP and would be nice to have but after having so much difficulty in finding jcer's and the fact that the guild has only one I have decided to level jcing.

If anyone has any recipes or knows of vendors that sell recipes throughout the world please let me know I would be much appreciative for any help I can get in skilling up.

Yeah 375!!!

1-350 easy peazy bout 500g

350-375 ohhhh about 4500g and still going, damn these blue cut recipes are expensive.

Thx to those that helped me out with mats here and there. This should be helpful to the guild with having more than 1 raiding jcer.
